Dr. V has been working as a dentist for 20+ years. She received her dental degree from Rajiv Gandhi University in India in 2001. She graduated advanced standing program from Boston University in 2008. She currently lives in Fairview, TN with her husband and two children.
Dr. V started out in general dentistry and is confident in performing a wide variety of procedures, such as; fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, partials and dentures. Apart from general dentistry, she is very passionate about placing dental implants to restore function, confidence and quality of life in her patients. She is diligent in her pursuit to stay current in providing the profession’s leading dental care procedures.

Dr. Loyola obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2021 and her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Lipscomb University. She considers dentistry an art, which makes her very meticulous with her work, from sculpting a filling to making sure the tissues heal nicely after an extraction. She enjoys empowering patients to achieve a healthy and beautiful smile while educating them on how to maintain it over time.
She was born in Santiago, Chile and as an immigrant, she has a soft spot for the under-served communities. She is proud to be a native Spanish speaker, which has helped her nourish patient trust and provide quality care to a wider population. She worked as a qualified Spanish-English Medical Interpreter for 10 years while pursuing her childhood dream of becoming a Dentist.
She is currently a volunteer Dentist at a local non-profit and travels across TN yearly to volunteer at Mid-South Mission of Mercy and Remote Area Medical clinics. As a lover of travel and culture, she looks forward to a point in her career where she can participate in more mission trips abroad.
When Dr. Loyola is not working or volunteering, she is enjoying a good meal with family or friends, learning how to play accordion, practicing her french, traveling, or playing sand volleyball.
La Doctora Loyola obtuvo su título en Cirugía Dental en el 2021 de la Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad de Tennessee y una licenciatura en Biología de la Universidad de Lipscomb.
Ella ve la odontología como un arte, lo que la hace muy meticulosa con su trabajo, desde esculpir un empaste hasta asegurarse que los tejidos sanen bien después de una extracción. Le gusta capacitar a sus pacientes para que logren una sonrisa hermosa y saludable mientras los educa sobre cómo mantenerla a largo plazo.
Nació en Santiago de Chile y como inmigrante, siente un cariño especial por las comunidades desatendidas. Se enorgullece de ser hispanohablante, lo que la ayuda a obtener la confianza de sus pacientes y brindarles la atención de calidad que se merecen. La doctora también trabajó como intérprete médico durante 10 años mientras lograba su sueño de infancia de convertirse en dentista.
Actualmente es dentista voluntaria en una organización local sin fines de lucro y viaja por TN para hacer voluntariados anuales en Mid-South Mission of Mercy y en Clínicas Médicas de Áreas Remotas. Como amante de los viajes y la cultura, espera llegar a un punto de su carrera en el que pueda participar en más viajes misioneros al extranjero.
Dr. VanDeventer was born and raised in Southern Indiana and graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1989. He has owned and operated general family dental practices in Tucson, Arizona, and Columbus, Indiana, bringing 34 years of experience to Tennessee Family Dental Care-Coolsprings.
He is excited to welcome you, your family, and your friends! Dr. VanDeventer is very passionate about developing trusting relationships and helping patients simplify their dental treatment while achieving the healthy smiles that they desire. Dr. VanDeventer is a member of the ADA along with state and local associations and numerous study clubs. He has completed several hands-on courses and is a certified Invisalign provider.
He is married to his wife Kathy, and they have three grown children. Outside of dentistry, Dr. VanDeventer enjoys playing golf, watching college football and basketball, going to church, and being a grandpa.
